Diabetic Nurse Educator

“The online diabetes micro-learning curriculum that In-Range Animation is building is grossly needed. In my design thinking course, I did a project focused on diabetes and interviewed PWD, caregivers, and providers. ALL agreed that additional education that is easily accessible is needed and necessary.

“If we think about how we have come to understand things it is through education. When we were growing up going to school could you even imagine if at the end of our first day of school our teachers said, ‘I hope you had a wonderful day. I will see you in 3-6 months’.

“Education is a daily thing and we need better access to education in healthcare, specifically chronic disease management like diabetes.”
